| Hybrid images can create textures with viewing distance. This picture shows an example of a woman's face that turns into a cat at close distance. Note that this effect can not be obtained by superimposing the woman's face and the cat's face using transparency. Using transparency (additive superimposition) creates a face that will not change with distance. |
